Claudia Restrepo is a Los Angeles-based writer, director and actor, currently focusing on Latinx content for BuzzFeed’s Pero Like. She is passionate about minority and queer representation, both on and off screen. Before producing for the world wide web, Claudia’s 2012 play Reconstruction received a Theater Unleashed Award for best of Hollywood Fringe. She is a graduate of the National Hispanic Media Coalition Television Writing Program, and a 2014 Academy Nicholl Fellowship quarterfinalist. One of her favorite projects to date is Lesbian Princess, a series she co-wrote and directed, which has amassed millions of views and combines her love of historical fiction with LGBT themes.
